ke5egi@livejournal.com BioI am a state licensed journeyman electrician. I am also a proud union member of the IBEW, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Local union 72. I guess you could say I'm a veteran electrician for I have been doing electrical work for like 30yrs. Some of that work was working as a power lineman.
I have been studying the weather for over 30+ yrs, which I am an Advanced Storm Spotter for the NWS in Fort Worth, Tx and my countys CoCoRaHS coordinator. I have my own weather station set up here at my home. (still tryng to get my own weather radar. *g*) I do go out when the need arises to spot/chase storms for the NWS in Ft. Worth.
I am also a former Firefighter/Paramedic, FF/P. I spent alot of years doing this, 15 years as a matter of fact. Been away from it for awhile now and I still do miss it sometimes. To this day, if I see an engine or ladder truck going by me, I want to follow after it!! :-) I can recall my most memorable calls, both good and bad.
I am also a former member of the Texas State Guard, 2n BDE, Alpha Detachment(2BN of the 2BDE). I received my honorable discharge and left as a Corporal & Squad leader for the 2nd platoon as well the medical corpsman for our unit. Check out![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

I am also a amatuer ham operator(Tech), a Net Control Operator(NCO), a member of the SATERN emergency group and a former member of the Texas Army MARS system, and also a member of my county ARES weather group.
For relaxation, I enjoy working on my HO scale model trains, play golf, shooting pool, movies.
I do hope you will come back and visit my LJ soon. I am always updating. :-)
